Dear Staff

Training, Supervision, and Team meetings

I hope you are well.

I wish to bring to your attention why Training, Supervision, and Team meetings matter!

We all work hard to attain and retain our ‘Good’ CQC rating. Now we want to gain an Outstanding rating, which is even more challenging.

What the CQC Regulation (Law) says?

"Staff must have regular Supervision and annual appraisal, so we undertake a minimum of 3 Supervisions, and an Annual Appraisal helps you to address any issue and celebrate achievements, allow you to discuss learning and development."

“Staff must have Annual refresher training as a minimum, and Staff work with complex, or specialist needs people; should take more enhanced training.”

You can help us to not only retain our 'Good' CQC rating but work towards 'OUTSTANDING' and make sure we do not break the Law!

What you should do ?

Complete all refresher training
It isn't optional; it is Law
Attend all Supervisions and Appraisal
Supervision is as much for your benefit (so we can check you are working safely) as it is to ensure we are complying with our legal obligations.
Attend all Team Meetings
It isn't optional; it is Law

The standards we work to are there to safeguard the vulnerable adults that we support! Remember, you are paid for your time to attend meetings, Supervision, and refresher training.

The Supervision and Training is Mandatory, and if staff continue to miss Supervision or training, we will have to take disciplinary action, which may lead to termination of employment.
