Alexa : Chosen Care Group Skill Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using the Chosen Care Group Skill. Your attention is particularly drawn to the disclaimer and limitation of liability provisions in Clause 7 and the indemnity in Clause 8.
These terms of use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“you”) and Chosen Care Group Limited UK(“Chosen Care Group”, “us” or “we”) in respect of your use of Chosen Care group’s skill (“Skill”) which enables you to receive information about our company and other services provided in the company. The Alexa service is made available by Amazon Digital Services LLC and/or its affiliates (“Amazon”). In order to use the Skill, you will first need to enable the Skill through your Alexa service (either from the Amazon website or the Alexa mobile application) subject to Amazon’s terms of use.
By accessing or using the Skill you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, we do not grant you permission to use the Skill and you should not proceed to download or use the Skill.

1. Your rights to use the Skill

Subject to you agreeing to abide by these Terms, we grant you permission to use the Skill which includes the information on the Chosen Care Group webpages made available through the Alexa service on the Amazon website or in the Alexa mobile application.

When you enable the Skill through your Alexa service, you can ask questions related to the company and If you wish to know about our careers then we will ask you to give your mobile no to send you the URL of the careers page.

We reserve all other rights which are not granted in these Terms.

2. Information we collect from you and how we use it

You agree to provide contact information when you want to know about the careers section. You are entirely responsible for all activities that occur through use of your user ID, even if another person was using your account and/or Alexa enabled device at the relevant time.

However, we shall be under no obligation to verify such information and may rely on the information that you provide to us without taking any further action.

We will send you our company career page URL to the contact no you have provided. However, we will not send you any marketing communications without the appropriate permission to do so.

We have the right to disable any user ID, password or other authentication information in connection with your account whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms.

3. Your promises to us

You promise to us that: (a) you are authorised to agree to these Terms; and (b) your use of the Skill shall be entirely at your own risk.

4. Intellectual property

All content available from Chosen Care Group through or in connection with the Skill is the property of or licensed to Chosen Care Group. Such content shall not be modified, distributed, framed, republished, scraped or sold in any form or by any means, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission. You acknowledge that all intellectual property rights in the Skill anywhere in the world belong to us (or are licensed to us), and that such rights are licensed (not sold) to you, and that you have no rights in, or to, the Skill other than the right to use it in accordance with these Terms.

5. Protecting your privacy

Your interactions with us through or in relation to the Skill are subject to our Privacy Policy.

6. Your use of the Alexa service

The Skill is accessible through the Alexa service on an Alexa-enabled device. You acknowledge that we have no control over the functioning of the Alexa service or the Alexa-enabled device and we are not responsible for their availability or for any inaccuracies in your interactions with us through the Alexa service via your Alexa-enabled device. You do not need the Skill to access your information; all of the information available through the Skill is also available via Chosen Care Group website, the platform and through our contact centres. You are responsible for all costs associated with your use of the Alexa service and purchase of the Alexa-enabled device.

When downloading and using the Skill, you must not:

  1. access, or attempt to access, parts of the Skill that are not intended for public use;
  2. modify, adapt or reverse engineer any aspect of the Skill;
  3. attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Skill in any way or with another person’s use of the Skill or use the Skill as a means of disrupting or interfering with the Alexa service;
  4. probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Skill;
  5. insert or knowingly or recklessly transmit or distribute a virus into the Skill so as to cause harm to our sites, us or other users or which is likely to bring the Skill, our products our services or us into disrepute;
  6. impersonate any person, or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  7. assist, encourage or permit any other person to do any of the acts described above.

When a breach of these Terms has occurred, we may take such action as we consider appropriate in the circumstances.

Your use of the Alexa service and any Alexa-enabled device will be governed by Amazon’s terms and conditions and privacy policies (“Amazon Terms ”). It is your responsibility to read the Amazon Terms. If you do not understand or agree to be bound by the Amazon Terms, you should not use the Alexa service or any Alexa-enabled device. Where there is a conflict between Amazon Terms and these Terms, the Amazon Terms will apply to the extent of that conflict.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

You acknowledge and agree that the information and advice that you receive from or in relation to the Skill may not be complete, up-to-date or reliable. You must: (a) make use of a wide range of information, advice and resources available to you; and (b) always exercise your own informed and reasonable judgment regarding the best course of action to follow. You acknowledge and agree that any actions taken by you, whether in reliance on the information received from the Skill or otherwise, are by your decision alone and are undertaken at your own risk.

As the Skill is provided for domestic and personal use, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

We provide the Skill and Chosen Care Group Webpages on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no guarantee that these will be uninterrupted, error free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. While we take reasonable precautions to prevent the existence of computer viruses and/or other malicious programs, we accept no liability for them. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms, which may apply to the Skill or Chosen Care Group Webpages, whether express or implied.

8. Indemnity

You agree to compensate, its affiliates and each of its directors, officers, agents, contractors, partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your misuse of the Skill and/or arising from a breach of these Terms.

9. Your right to terminate

You may terminate your use of the Skill at any time via the Alexa service by disabling the Skill from your Alexa app.

We may terminate these Terms and your permission to use the Skill immediately if: (a) you commit any breach of these Terms; (b) we discontinue the Skill; (c) we are prevented from providing the Skill for any reason, or (d) for any other reason as we see fit.

Furthermore, we reserve the right to change, edit, suspend, delete and/or cancel any part of the Skill at any time with or without notice to you.

10. Changes to Terms and/or service

We may change these Terms and/or the Skill at any time (for example to improve performance, enhance functionality, reflect changes to the operating system or to address security issues). We will notify you of a change when you next use the Skill You will be required to agree to any new Terms in order to continue your use of the Skill. The date these Terms were last updated appears at the bottom.
